Thousands of microdots carrying one unique PIN are applied to vital components by aerosol, dauber, brush or pen. They survive normal car washing and are practically impossible to remove completely.

Deter
Warning decals inside the front side windows tell a would-be thief the vehicle is marked. Pawnshops, dealers and police look for microdots, so thieves move on to unmarked targets.

Recover
Each PIN is registered with the vehicle and owner details in a national database, accessible internationally. Under UV light and magnification, any recovered part can be traced back to its rightful owner.
